The Impermanent Collection is dedicated to art, furniture and design objects.
It was first launched in 2013 in Los Angeles, when Eugénie Frémiot transformed her loft into an improvised gallery.
Arriving in Brussels in 2014, she organized her first exhibition in 2015, as part of architect Guillaume van Wassenhove’s agency Atelier van Wassenhove, bringing together artists, designers and architects around her vision of everyday objects and living rooms.
Since then, her architectural approach has guided her in her research and development of concepts for interiors, furnishings and layouts, as well as the launch of her gallery The Impermanent Collection, in Belgium and internationally.
At the heart of The Impermanent Collection, Eugénie presents works that are both useful and contemplative, whether furniture, lighting or everyday objects with a little extra soul, that we love to surround ourselves with.
Our environment thus reveals a way of perceiving space and making it living and livable, in a quest for sustainable beauty.

The Impermanent Collection’s mission is to produce and present furnitures and functional objects by present-day designers, artists and architects.
